Fun with the team
Archie, Maya, Evie, Atlas, Nonna, Gary, Leo and Charlie help us show what Community Axis is all about. They're made up, but the jobs they do are real.
Barn owl
Keeps your group's history safe: minutes, records, old photos and the stories behind them.
Archie has read every set of minutes since the club was founded and still remembers who brought the biscuits. Ask him where the 1987 team photo went and he'll find it before you've finished asking.
Spot Archie by: Round glasses, a stack of books and a well-thumbed ledger.
Honeybee
Gets everyone buzzing: rotas, reminders and keeping the whole hive in step.
Maya runs on honey and to-do lists. Her headset is always on, her tablet is always charged, and she has never once let a rota go unfilled.
Spot Maya by: A headset, a tablet and a very busy pair of wings.
Ring-tailed lemur
Brings families together to share news, photos, birthdays and family history.
Evie has traced her family tree back more branches than she can count. She loves nothing more than a family reunion, and she never forgets a birthday.
Spot Evie by: A stripy tail and a family tree scroll.
Tortoise
Helps new members find their way and keeps every group pointing in the right direction.
Atlas is in no hurry. He has seen clubs come and go and knows that the best communities are built slowly and steadily. His compass has never once pointed him the wrong way.
Spot Atlas by: A sturdy shell, a zip-up jacket and a brass compass.
Old English sheepdog
Makes everyone feel welcome, and keeps the traditions, recipes and get-togethers going.
Nobody leaves Nonna's kitchen hungry. She keeps every family recipe on a handwritten card, remembers everyone's favourite cake and gives the warmest welcome to every new face.
Spot Nonna by: A navy apron, a mixing bowl and a handful of recipe cards.
Pigeon
Makes sure every message gets where it needs to go, without getting lost in a busy group chat.
Gary's family have carried messages for generations. These days he delivers them in a tap, but he still likes to perch somewhere high and coo about the latest news.
Spot Gary by: A Community Axis jacket and a phone full of messages.
Shepherd dog
Keeps each group space closed and safe, so only invited members can get in.
Leo takes his job very seriously. He knows every member by name, checks every invitation at the gate and keeps his radio on, just in case. Off duty, he's a big softie.
Spot Leo by: A utility vest and a walkie-talkie.
Cockerel
Shouts about events, news and big moments, so nobody misses out.
Charlie is up before sunrise every day with news to share. Matches, meetings, fêtes and festivals: if it's happening, Charlie is announcing it.
Spot Charlie by: A bright red comb and a megaphone.
Archie, Maya, Evie, Atlas, Nonna, Gary, Leo and Charlie are fictional characters created for Community Axis.
